Council District Flood Mitigation meetings
In an effort to address and mitigate flooding issues due to more frequent rain events and an aging stormwater infrastructure, the City of New Rochelle has established a programmatic approach which includes an enhanced stormwater maintenance program, resources for homeowners, design and construction of localized flood mitigation projects, and a 10-year implementation plan of capital mitigation projects throughout the City.

With the first round of mitigation projects identified for 2024 and scheduled for 2025, the Department of Public Works will give an update in each of the City’s six City Council districts in May and June. For more information visit www.newrochelleny.com/flooding
