Coffee, Confections & Conversation with Author Emily Franklin

On Saturday morning, October 21st the New Rochelle Public Library Foundation will host a morning version of its popular Cocktails & Conversation event : Coffee, Confections and Conversation with Emily Franklin, author of a book Town & Country Magazine called the “must-read book of Spring 2023.” Franklin’s work, The Lioness of Boston, is a deeply evocative novel of the life of Isabella Stewart Gardner, the daring visionary who created an inimitable legacy in American art and transformed the city of Boston itself.

ArtsFest 2023 Set for Thursday, October 19th to Sunday, Oct. 22nd

ArtsFest 2023 – an exciting weekend-long celebration of the arts — will take place in New Rochelle and surrounding communities from Thursday, October 19th through Sunday, October 22nd. Organized by the non-profit New Rochelle Council on the Arts (NRCA) ArtsFest spotlights the diversity of arts and artists in our community, with open studios, live music and dance, film screenings, pop-up art exhibits, a classic car show focused on design, an Artisan Market, spoken word events, and interactive activities for all ages.
