Feed the Funnel Initiative, a Part of September 11 National Day of Service

The City of New Rochelle, in partnership with Volunteer New York! and Monroe College is proud to announce its selection as one of only 11 exclusive Feed the Funnel sites nationwide. This special initiative, part of the federally recognized September 11 National Day of Service and Remembrance, will unfold on Friday, September 8th, aiming to pack and distribute 50,000 meals within the New Rochelle community.

10th Annual New Rochelle Street Fair Coming on Sunday, September 10!

The highly anticipated 10th Annual New Rochelle Street Fair is just around the corner, promising a day of excitement, entertainment, and celebration for all. This year, the New Rochelle Street Fair Committee is proud to announce The New Rochelle Industrial Development Agency (IDA) as presenting sponsor of the 10th Annual New Rochelle Street Fair, to be held on September 10, 2023 from 11 AM to 5 PM surrounding City Hall.

New Rochelle Public Library Board of Trustees Inducts Two New Members

The New Rochelle Public Library (NRPL) Board of Trustees inducted Fela Cortés and Tatiana Infante at the most recent board meeting on Thursday, July 20. Cortés and Infante were elected to the board in May filling the spots vacated by Daniel Bonnet and Sarah Langlois whose terms ended on June 30. Cortés and Infante will each serve a five-year term which began on July 1, 2023 and runs through June 30, 2028.
