Durian Restaurant’s Second Location Brings Authentic Thai Food to New Rochelle
The owners of Durian restaurant in Larchmont are thrilled to announce the opening of their second location – Durian of New Rochelle (227 Main St, New Rochelle). This family-owned restaurant is dedicated to serving authentic Thai cuisine to the local community. The new establishment has already become a hotspot for Thai cuisine enthusiasts and locals alike.
Following the longtime success of their Larchmont location, the team at Durian decided it was time to expand their horizons and share their authentic Thai flavors with an even broader audience.

Refusing to compromise on quality, Durian’s dishes are true to their Thai flavors, using ingredients flown in directly from Thailand, namely, galangal, turmeric, tamarind, chilis, and lime leaf, and lemongrass. The kitchen is led by Chef Kamol Uttarapas and every dish is prepared with the utmost care and attention to detail, using the finest ingredients to capture the essence of authentic Thai cuisine. Restaurant-goers will find unique dishes such as Shrimp Satay Tacos as well as traditional Curries, Pad Thai, and Pineapple Fried Rice.
Durian New Rochelle’s second location is open for lunch and dinner, offering both dine-in and takeout options. Business hours are – Sunday: 12 to 9:30 PM, Monday: 11 to 9:30 PM, Wednesday and Thursday: 11 AM to 9:30 PM, and Friday: 11 AM to 10 PM & Saturday: 12 PM to 10 PM.
