Local Artisans Creatively Celebrate
Makers Month at KRAVE

On March 29th, local artisans gathered to celebrate March Makers Month at KRAVE in New Rochelle. Makers from all over Westchester and the Hudson Valley gathered to socialize, mingle, collaborate, and connect.

Hosted by local New Rochelle maker and A D’Zine jewelry founder, Melissa Panszi Riebe,  KRAVE has become the location of choice for the past 3 years (started right before Covid and resumed last year).  KRAVE has been a strong supporter to the local maker community.  “The beautiful environment, delicious food, and top notch customer services, makes this location such a wonderful place for us to gather every year.” stated Panszi Riebe.

Attendees represented everything from brick and mortar businesses to online stores to local markets.  Dana Harahan is the founder of Jar Worthy Candles and Apothecary with a store located at Tilly Foster Farm in Brewster.  “It was the mid week pick-me-up that I needed. Catching up with fellow makers before the market season kicks off. Thank you Melissa and Krave for hosting us!”

“One of my favorite things to do is connect with these amazingly talented, creative people.  While doing markets, you don’t always have time to engage on a more personal level.  I love that this gathering allowed us to connect, hopefully collaborate for future projects, and at minimum have more friendly faces to see when doing events.” stated Panszi-Riebe who is also the creator of Make Your Mark[et], New Rochelle, a holiday pop up store of 30+ local makers inside the New Rochelle Train station. (Makers: Jarworthy, Creative Rajni, Masha Dasha, Westchester Handmade, 22KATKRAFTS, A D’Zine, 3-Seeds Product, A Duck a Muck, Allison Belolan Art, Sherrit Design, Bead Designs, Manor Sangria, Crochet Designs by Juliette.)
